This enables you to play online java games, and best of all is from Microsoft. So there is no risk at all with this, unless you don’t trust Microsoft of course! Basically, this will enable you to use the mafia chat feature we have available if you are receiving an error message when you try to use it rather than installing mIRC if you are unsure of it.

mIRC Plus

This is the alternative to using the mafia chat feature if you are an advanced user and you wish to use several IRC rooms simultaneously. As you can see with the screen shot to the left, it is basically the same to use apart from the multiple room system. Other than that, there is a ‘right-click’ option enabled on here which lets you use commands without having to type them like you would using mafia chat.

INSTRUCTIONS (provided by Graho)

Once downloaded, follow some simple steps and away you go :)

Open Mirc Plus, this should take you to an options box, if for some bizarre reason it doesn’t, click the options image (2nd from right, next to connect)

When this has opened click the add button.

Description: mafia.org

IRC Server: irc.mafia.org (At this time its 209.218.130.57 due to the downtime, i have no idea if this will change or stay the same)

Port(s): 6667

Group leave blank

Click ok

Go to the first scroll down menu (IRC Servers) and put it to all.

Then on the second drop down menu, put it to the one you have just created (mafia.org, usually at the bottom)

Add your details, these details can and quite possibly be seen, so, what you put as your name is your Decision.

Input your nick, use your game name to start with until you are known as other names. And click connect

And wallah, you are connected. Once connected, type /ns register *password* *email* this will then register your name and nobody can steal it. Every other time you sign on, you have to type /ns identify *password* the same password you registered with

Please note, do not put * in, I used them to separate them.

To change rooms, type /join #roomname
